Find out what your website is actually doing.

An honest, developer-led review of your site's speed, security, SEO and code quality, with a prioritised list of fixes in plain English rather than a wall of red graphs.

Fixed price, no obligation Written by developers, not tools Comped in full if we do the work

The problem

Every agency says your site is bad. Ask them to prove it.

Most website decisions are made on gut feel: the site feels slow, the last developer has vanished, an agency is pushing a rebuild.

Free audits don’t help. They are sales pitches with a traffic-light PDF attached: generated by a tool, understood by nobody, and always concluding that you need what that agency happens to sell.

An independent audit replaces the guesswork with evidence: what is actually wrong, what it is costing you, and what fixing it should involve — whoever you choose to fix it.

1

Free 'audits'

A sales pitch with a traffic-light PDF: generated by a tool, understood by nobody.

2

Gut-feel decisions

Rebuilds commissioned because a site feels slow, without knowing what is actually wrong.

3

Evidence first

A developer reads your code, measures your site and tells you what to fix, in what order.

What we examine

Six angles, one honest picture

Performance and Core Web Vitals

Where the slowdowns really come from: measured on real pages, not guessed from a score.

Security

Vulnerable plugins, exposed endpoints and missing hardening, ranked by how urgently each matters.

SEO and AEO readiness

How search engines and AI assistants see you, and what is holding you back in both.

Code quality

Whether the codebase is an asset or a liability, and whether it is honestly worth saving.

Accessibility

WCAG issues that exclude users and increasingly attract legal risk.

Hosting, backups and DNS

Whether your infrastructure would actually survive a bad day, tested rather than assumed.

How it works

From worry to work-list

01

Scope

A short call to agree what we're auditing and why: the site, the worry, the goal.

02

Investigate

We crawl, measure and read the code: performance, security, SEO, accessibility, infrastructure.

03

Report

A prioritised, plain-English report: what's wrong, what it costs you, and what fixing it involves.

04

Fix — your call

Fix the list in-house, hand it to your agency, or have us do it: the audit fee comes off the work.

FAQ

Fair questions

Straight answers to the things people sensibly ask before paying for an audit.

No. Tools are where we start, not where we stop. A developer reads your actual code and configuration, verifies what the tools flag, discards the noise, and explains what genuinely matters in plain English.

No — and the audit is often what saves you from one. If the site is worth keeping, we say so and show the shorter fix list. If it isn't, you'll get the evidence, not a sales pitch.

Read-only wherever possible: analytics, Search Console, hosting and a copy of the codebase. We never make changes during an audit, and we can sign an NDA before touching anything.

A health check lands within a week. A full audit typically takes two weeks. Deep dives are scoped case by case.

Whatever suits you. Fix them in-house, hand the list to your existing agency, or have us do the work — in which case the audit fee comes off the bill in full.
